About the Photographer:

Kevin Diamond remembers the day he first "saw the light" and began his pursuit of great photography -- it was basically just an ordinary day, back in 1990 -- he awoke at dawn to see the the shimmering light of dawn's glowing gold through a faint mist over a lake in the Muskoka highlands just north of Toronto.

He was profoundly affected not only by the beauty of the scene but also by its spiritual quality. Kevin's desire to capture and communicate such experiences inspired by a love of photography has led him into many areas of interest.

Self-taught in photography, Kevin began admiring and following the works of several masters of photography during the late 1990's, up to the present day.

Kevin's nature photography shows influences by several other artists, while the composition he uses often is used to signify deeper, more personal levels of the captured experience.

These days Kevin has forsaken the use of camera and film and now only shoots with his trusty duo of Canon digital SLR's.
